Student Andre Richard Vilca Solorzano represented the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (LaCIMA) with a scientific poster presentation on frost prediction in the Altiplano using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, earning third place in the competition organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Research at the National University of the Altiplano.

This recognition reflects not only the quality of the student's work but also LaCIMA's commitment to training researchers capable of generating high-impact scientific knowledge. It also strengthens the laboratory's position as a space for research, innovation, and academic training, supported by scientific output published in internationally indexed journals and conferences, aimed at providing artificial intelligence-based solutions to the challenges of the regional and national environment.
