The paper, authored by Fred Torres-Cruz, Dina Maribel Yana-Yucra and Richar Andre Vilca-Solorzano, compares approaches to anticipate frost events in the Peruvian Altiplano — a problem that strikes Puno agriculture every year — and lays the groundwork for early warning systems.
